Do you have a creative mind that wants makes great content? Are you interested in working within in Social Media? The Discovery Preschools are looking for a Content & Social Media Specialist who will developing content to be seen on all its platforms.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesProduce quality content including website copy, SEO copy, and email blastsExcellent creative writing ability with the skills to write clear, engaging and consistent messaging with the company's target audience in mindCreate and execute social media strategy and best practices across various social media channels - Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.Design visual and engaging content to distribute across various channelsWork with marketing managers to develop lead generation strategiesCommunicate directly with users via social channels, responding to questions, engaging and being the voice of Newtown Athletic ClubCome up with creative ideas to help enhance NAC's marketing strategy, email campaignsAccomplishes marketing and organization mission by completing related functions as needed
Position Requirements
Preferred Abilities:Graphic design or photography experience a plusKnowledge of social media platforms as well as social media management platforms
Education and/or Experience:College degree preferred
Physical Demands:
May sit, stand, stoop, bend and walk frequently during the day. May stand four (4) to eight (8) hours per day. May need to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds on occasion. Visual acuity to see and read fine prints. Specific vision abilities required by this role include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to hear normal voice sounds. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this role.
