**About this role:**

As a Trade Marketing Manager, you will support collaboration, consolidation, and commercialization of key operating rhythms that flow from upstream parts of the organization (product, brand, supply chain, pricing, etc.) to sales. This position will also be responsible for trade show management. This position requires a motivated self-starting contributor with experience in go-to-market strategies, preferably in the electrical wholesale, builder, industrial, regional and/or national distribution channels.

**Key Responsibilities:**

+ Manage the logistics and execution of trade show activities, including planning, calendar, budget building, booth design, product shipping, and logistics.

+ Support strategic and tactical recommendations both online and in-store on product, distribution, planogramming, and merchandising to improve category performance.

+ Align with Sales and the customer on key category initiatives and partner on solutions that leverage organizational capabilities to create maximum value.

+ Support the development of the annual Sales Playbook by integrating cross-functional materials that support selling efforts with customers, including product line reviews and project bids.

+ Coordinate brand, media, and product initiatives with customers, including displays, signage, and packaging.

+ Commercialize excess and obsolete (E&O) product opportunities for Sales including engagement with Supply Chain and Sales on feasibility of product solutions.

+ Planning, monitoring, and reporting of budget spending.

+ Be the voice of the customer with internal teams.

**Required Qualification:**

+ Bachelor's degree

+ 5 + years of experience in channel management, in the electrical wholesale, builder, industrial, regional and/or national distribution channels.

+ 5 + years of experience in planning and executing events, promotions, and customer-specific projects, including product line reviews and project bids.

+ Ability to travel 20%

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.

+ Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional partners as well as the customer.

+ Self-sufficient detail-oriented multi-tasker who can manage multiple projects simultaneously.

+ Experience in selling and/or marketing safety or building products categories preferred.
