A global technology company specializing in gas separation is seeking a
Mechanical Designer
to create and design fabrication drawings for structural steel, piping, and P&IDs. The ideal candidate has a strong background in mechanical drafting and design, proficient in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD, and familiar with relevant industry standards. Working collaboratively, the new team member will promote operational excellence by demonstrating multi-project coordination and organizational skills, maintaining a professional and positive attitude while ensuring customer satisfaction and adhering to industry standards.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for creating fabrication drawings for structural steel, piping, and P&ID's using Inventor and AutoCAD software. Their role is pivotal in the development, installation, and servicing of mechanical equipment and systems.
Create and design general arrangement drawings from initial concept through completed system.
Work closely with multiple project managers, so an aptitude for multi-project coordination and organizational skills are essential.
Has an essential role in project meetings, deadlines, and customers overall satisfaction with the products; so, a professional and positive attitude can lead to growth and advancement within the company.Requirements:
6+ years of experience
Associate's degree or its equivalent education or relative work experience in the Drafting /Designing discipline
Proficient in using recent versions of Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD
Basic computer skills in the Microsoft Suite
Experience with industry standards and codes, such as ATEX, IEC, NEC, ASME, ANSI, CE is beneficial
Able to conduct field verification of designs prior to, during, and after construction
Experience in working with multiple tasks or projects
Pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
Background screening includes previous employment, education, and criminal history
