BASIC PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION

This role will perform a variety of activities in support of successfully expediting delivery and receipt of overdue purchase orders, backordered sales orders and resolving shipping errors. The expeditor will gather, collect, record, track and verify data from multiple sources.

PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES: This position does the following in accordance with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws / regulations and the Company's policies, procedures, and guidelines:Interact directly with suppliers to identify opportunities with suppliers to streamline processes.Resolve supplier, operations, and carrier claims independently.Research, follow up, and monitor the status of open purchase orders, dropship orders and stock transfers to ensure timely delivery and minimize stock out situations.Update Weekly Backorder report, Service Bulletin and Campaign report, as well as purchase orders in the SAP system with the most current ETA information, supersessions, discontinued parts, and price changes obtained from Advance Ship Notice (ASN) reports or other multiple sources.Create dropship purchase orders, obtain confirmation, and ensure timely billing of sales orders in the SAP system.Confer with Parts Manager, Buyers, Kubota Parts and Wholegoods (KPAW) representatives the status of overdue purchase orders and backordered sales orders.Work with the Accounting department on invoice reconciliations.Works with numerous internal stakeholders to update on unit down situations.Other duties as assigned by management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree is preferred:In lieu of a degree at least 5 years' experience in a customer service or purchasing position.With a degree at least 3 years' of experience in a customer service or purchasing position.Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Suite including but not limited to: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.SAP Experience preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Typical office environment.
