As
Graphic Designer , you will collaborate to create strong retail ads that identify with our brands.The
Graphic Designer
will be responsible for preparing visual presentations by designing art and copy layouts, communicating brand positioning through externally directed mass communications, and providing creative art for assigned advertising campaigns including print work such as: newspaper ads, social ads, direct mail and collateral materials. This role will require strong collaboration across RMS’s Buying and Merchandising teams to translate product into trend.Our people are our greatest strength, are at the core of our culture, and the driving force behind our success. RMS people have a mission to succeed and a passion that ensures what we do, we do well.Duties & ResponsibilitiesWork with Director of Marketing and Advertising to establish and achieve creative objectives, strategies and goals for marketing campaignsConceptualize, design and implement creative graphics and content, both print and digital for a variety of marketing campaigns - on time and within budgetDevelop and design layouts, inclusive of copy and images for sales collateral, digital ads, onsite promotional materials (banners, printed collateral), etc.Create layouts, edit graphics for Company Websites and other Social sites such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedInDesign and produce a wide variety of marketing deliverables including email, social media initiatives, direct mail pieces, and web page contentAssist with managing design revisions and approval of artwork and information accuracyKnowledge, education, skills and experience:Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Graphic Designer role.Relevant qualification retail design or equivalent experienceFluent in Adobe Software including Illustrator and Photoshop and InDesignCopywriting/proofing and experience in email marketing is a plusHave a good level of business acumen, sound common sense and a genuine interest in the retail industry.Accuracy, attention to detail and a pro-active approach.Excellent planning, organizing and coordination skills.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, high level of energy and a positive can-do attitudeWork RemotelyNoJob Type: Full-timeSalary: From $50,000 per yearBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceEmployee assistance programEmployee discountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:Philadelphia, PA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Experience:Adobe Creative Suite: 1 year (Preferred)Adobe Illustrator: 1 year (Preferred)Graphic design: 2 years (Preferred)Work Location: In person
