GU Energy Labs is a family-owned market-leading global sports nutrition brand, and we are looking for an Experiential Marketing Specialist to join our team!

About This Role

GU's Experiential Marketing Team creates and executes best-in-class brand and product experiences that connect our sports nutrition products with athletes of all kinds.

The Experiential Marketing Specialist is instrumental in bringing the GU brand and products to life in the field, representing GU at sponsored events, expos, trade shows and within the community. A strong candidate for this role is organized, enthusiastic, motivated, community-minded, and detail-oriented.

This position will require extensive travel across the United States and flexibility of schedule, including willingness to work weekends and evening hours as events demand.

You are excited about this opportunity because you will:Collaborate on the creation of experiences that connect current and new consumers with the GU brand.Represent GU at races, events, expos, trade shows, retailer events, and community events.Share in-depth knowledge of GU's brand, product, purpose, culture, and values.Support the team on all aspects of event planning including contract negotiation, execution, and cross functional reporting of wins and learnings.Partner with Marketing Team on event asset needs and creation.Manage event asset inventory and ship event supplies as needed.Have the opportunity to learn and grow in the outdoor industry.

We are excited about you because you have/are:1-2 years of relevant experience in events and demos.Energetic and enjoy connecting with athletes, sharing information, and listening to consumers.Expert level multi-tasker able to juggle conversation and logistics simultaneously.Consumer-first attitude. You take pride in providing excellent customer service.Active individual with personal connection to active lifestyle.Are a great problem-solver, able to independently make decisions in the best interest of the company and your team. You're flexible and dependable, always looking to leave a situation better than you found it.Work well under pressure and deadlines; you're comfortable with change.Have a current, valid driver's license and are comfortable driving corporate sprinter van.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTSMust be prepared to work irregular hours and weekends.Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, reach, and grasp; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
