ABOUT THE ROLEAs a Manager in the Business & Data Platforms organization, you will be responsible for the efficient, effective, and elegant operation of the Venu title metadata system and analytics framework. You will lead a team including a Business Analyst, Developers, Quality Engineers and interface extensively with internal stakeholders and external partners.Oversee and ensure the quality of your team's requirements gathering, solutioning design, and implementation of data flows, business processes, integrations, and data processing logic to meet requirements of the title metadata system
Collaborate with technology peers and advisors on evolving the analytics platform to ensure the title metadata flowing through the ecosystem is complete, robust, and accurate
Build protocols and processes to enable frictionless collaboration with Venu technology stakeholders, primarily Managers and Directors owning complimentary applications
Analyze and negotiate design tradeoffs, prioritization, and dependencies between related systems in the Venu ecosystem
Facilitate strong working relationships, based on an understanding of business needs and data/system architecture, with third party partners who contribute title metadata to Venu that enable them to deliver the highest quality input and address issues early
Design, implement, and monitor operational controls to ensure zero application downtime including stress testing/load balancing, disaster recovery, monitoring and altering strategies.
Manage daily Scrum ceremonies
Identify and resolve issues with Salesforce applications, including troubleshooting errors, investigating technical problems, and providing solutions
Providing technical assistance to end-users, including answering questions, resolving problems, and guiding users in navigating the Salesforce platform. Translate these learnings into product or process improvements
Own organizational change management principles to effectively manage and communicate system upgrades, enhancements, and changes to end-users
Build a team culture that encourages and enables each member to contribute their best personal effort, unlocks synergies via collaboration, and keeps morale high
WHAT YOU WILL NEEDExperience working as a Business Analyst, Application Owner, or other related role that fostered an ability to excel at the responsibilities described in this posting
People management experience, leading technical individual contributors
Strong knowledge, skills, and abilities with the Salesforce platform including declarative Salesforce configuration such as validation rules, process builder, flows, and object management
Strong understanding of integration and API patterns, including but not limited to: REST, SOAP, ETL, etc.
Experience analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools
Experience owning an application within a sophisticated connected enterprise.
Experience with common collaboration tools including but not limited to Lucidchart, Smartsheet, Salesforce, Slack, and Atlassian products (Jira & Confluence) and a strong point of view on the appropriate mix of tools to enable team success
Familiarity with master data management / content management principles
Demonstrated self-composure, tolerance for ambiguity, and integrity
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and interpret complex business requirements
Excellent written and oral communication skills with peers and leadership as demonstrated by documentation that is well organized and easy to comprehend
NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEALBREAKERExperience with the streaming, broadcasting, and/or entertainment industries
Passion for sports and bringing compelling sports content experiences to viewers
Familiarity with analytics frameworks and tools, such as Tableau

This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
