ABOUT YOUYou are responsible for effectively overseeing, planning, organizing, leading and controlling the daily projects and work for interior design and branding of development in the company assets. You are responsible for driving the day-to-day operations of the Interior Design Department.

EVERY DAY, YOU WILLAssist in the development and realization of the interior design of a project with assistance of VP of Architecture and Design or VP on Interior Design from start to finish.Present design progress and preliminary contract documents internally to the VP of Architecture and Design or VP of Interior Design to approve design reviews.Gathers information and coordination with all consultants on a project for direction from VP of Architecture and Design or VP of Interior Design.Attend site visits and coordination meetings as required.Present and coordinate design presentations to the Project Team.Collaborate with Development Manager, Construction Manager and Architecture Manager to communicate and review project scope, schedule, budget, staffing needs and project milestones as needed.Communicate vision through drawings, renderings, and material boards.Observe and communicate design trends within the hospitality and real estate market.Maintain and update schedules and budgets for the VP of Architecture and Design, VP of Interior Design or SVP of Development as requested.HCP24Requirements:

WHAT WE NEED

EducationBachelor's Degree in Design, Architecture, related field or equivalent experienceExperience and/or TrainingMinimum of 3-5 plus years of experience as an interior designer, working in all phases of the design process, in the commercial real estate industry.Proven ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects of varying scales.Strong oral and written communication skills.Well-developed interpersonal skills to build, maintain and develop relationships with ownership, the senior management team, employees, business partners, and customers.Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently, prioritize and multi-task in a time sensitive environment.Willingness to travel as needed.Technology/EquipmentStrong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Strong knowledge proficiency in 2D cad programs and 3D modeling techniques and software.Project management software experience is preferred.YOU MUST ALSO HAVEU.S. Work Authorization (required)
