Marketing Intern (Fall 2024)

Gotham West Studios, a rapidly growing and innovative podcast company based in New York City, is seeking a talented and motivatedPodcast Marketing Internto join our team at our Brooklyn, NY office/studio for a 3-month fall internship. The ideal candidate will have a passion for podcasting, marketing, and a keen interest in developing new strategies to enhance listener engagement.Responsibilities:Develop and implement marketing campaigns tailored for various podcast series, including audience segmentation and targeting strategies.Assist in creating promotional materials and content for social media platforms, email newsletters, and other marketing channels.Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and social media engagement to refine strategies.Coordinate with the production team to ensure alignment between marketing materials and podcast content.Engage with our audience through social media and other digital platforms to increase podcast visibility and listener interaction.Participate in weekly team meetings to discuss marketing insights, strategies, and collaborate on promotional ideas.Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support the Gotham West Studios team.Requirements:Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college or university program related to marketing, communications, business, media, or a related field.Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms, such as social media management software and email marketing services.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a fast-paced environment.Enthusiasm for podcasts and a desire to play a key role in the growth of the industry.This is a part-time position based in Brooklyn, NY. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about podcasting and eager to gain experience in this dynamic field.Compensation: $16/hourThe referenced salary range is based on the Companys good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
