OverviewThe Marketing/Sales Coordinator will work under the general direction of the MPG Executive Director of Operations and will be responsible for supporting and assisting with a wide range of marketing activities to achieve the company's marketing objectives and plans. This role plays a crucial part in managing the company's online content presence, including web updates and social media posts. Responsibilities include content creation, performance analysis, paid and organic search recommendations, and generating analytical reports for brands. Additionally, the role supports tradeshows, sponsorships, and sales projects, including customer entertainment events, while also addressing internal and external marketing needs across the McWane Plumbing Group of companies.

ResponsibilitiesDigital Marketing:

Execute digital marketing campaigns, including SEO/SEM, social media, and digital banner advertisements.

Develop and monitor the company’s social media presence across various platforms.

Create and manage a 12-month digital media calendar for each brand.

Measure and report on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns.

Identify trends and insights to optimize marketing programs and enhance performance.

Brainstorm and develop creative ideas to enhance digital engagement.

Content Management:

Maintain and update company websites as needed, ensuring all content is current and accurate.

Coordinate with corporate teams to analyze brand website performance on a quarterly basis.

Collaborate with internal customers and external stakeholders to develop and distribute content.

Tradeshow & Sponsorship Coordination:

Coordinate and manage all tradeshow activities, including logistics and promotional materials.

Support sales teams with projects, including customer entertainment events and sponsorships.

Track and manage trade show and convention registrations, working closely with Regional Managers.

Marketing Support:

Assist in the development and execution of marketing, promotional, and advertising activities.

Support the creation and distribution of collateral materials, advertising, photography, and other marketing touchpoints.

Contribute to the execution of the Strategic Plan Marketing Key Results Area (KRA).

Assist in the development of marketing brand advertisements for digital and print media, especially in business trade magazines.

Distribute marketing catalogs to customers and vendors, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.

Maintain and update product literature, catalogs, and brand price lists.

Pricing & Analytics:

Maintain the Multiplier and pricing program, ensuring accurate mapping to the system.

Assist in processing monthly pricing and promotional sales credits.

Support the Business Analyst in managing the company rebate program.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

2-3 years of experience in marketing, digital media, or a related field.

Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts, including SEO/SEM and social media.

Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Web Development tools (e.g. Dreamweaver) desired.

Knowledge and efficiency in Power BI are a plus.

Experience with content management systems (CMS) and website maintenance.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Google Analytics, CRM, Google AdWords, etc.).

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to inform decisions.
