McKinsey and Company Inc. US is seeking a Senior Designer I in Atlanta, GA. Leverage an iterative, user-centered approach and solid UI design skills to conceive and deliver valuable new experiences for clients and colleagues across mobile and web platforms. Contribute to all aspects of the product development lifecycle, from research and ideation through to detailed design and delivery, with an emphasis on rapid prototyping, frequent validation with end users, and creatively approaching constraints. Conduct best practice user research, framing key questions, creating research plans, conducting activities, and synthesizing findings into meaningful, actionable insights. Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other disciplines to identify critical aspects for product success, define user interactions across multiple touchpoints, and explore new tools and technologies to enrich offerings. Lead the UX and UI design efforts, ensuring the delivery of a consumer-quality product that integrates user needs, business objectives, and technical capabilities. Collaborate with software developers and architects to review, iterate, and refine product design during development cycles, providing clear guidance for design-to-code translation. Advocate and coach for design thinking, helping others in the firm develop their knowledge, skills, and capabilities in empathetic, inventive, and iterative product development methods. Qualified applicants for this position must possess a Masters degree in Industrial Design, Human Centered Design or related field, or foreign degree equivalent.Qualified applicants for this position must have a minimum three (3) years of experience performing user experience or user design. Experience must include: planning and executing quantitative and qualitative user research methodologies, including surveys, contextual inquiries, user interviews, focus groups, card sorting, unmoderated testing, usability testing, A/B testing, and analytics; synthesizing research findings into actionable insights to inform design decisions; designing and executing user testing and concept validation experiments and identifying potential solution options for user needs and designing experiments to elicit the most viable solutions; planning design thinking workshops based on project objectives, desired outcomes, and participant needs; employing various facilitation techniques to encourage participation, foster creativity, and maintain focus throughout sessions; interaction and visual design skills, including using one of the following: Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or OmniGraffle; rapid prototyping tools including Axure, InVision, or Flinto; Agile software development.Email your resume to CO@mckinsey.com and refer to Job # 7565979
