Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking a Graphic Designer to join our client's team in New York. Looking for an exceptional (mid-level to senior) Graphic Designer that exhibits superb communication skills as well as problem-solving, design-oriented solutions, and high production skills to tackle day-to-day design assignments. In this role, you have experience working through a large queue of projects, moving things quickly (and efficiently) while also being highly detail-oriented about quality control and a high-end output. You will be responsible for the accuracy, quality, and development of final art files for print and digital deliverables based on existing toolkits. The designer must be able to effectively manage multiple active projects to meet tight deadlines and be able to implement revisions thoroughly and within the time frame assigned.

As a designer, you will also contribute to the broader creative vision of the global design team, and work closely with other designers and the Creative Director, project managers, copywriters, and marketing managers to define and brand experiences across digital, motion, web, print and event (experiential) design.

In this role you will:

Working closely with other designers that will oversee your workComplete quick edits to prior jobsResize and adapt files to new specifications or mediaCreate and update Microsoft Word and Powerpoint templatesDesign and execute social cards based on templatesEfficiently execute a high volume of sales collateral projects from start to finish in a fast-paced environmentAccurately make the client's and proofreader's editorial revisions from annotated PDFs; raise concerns when neededMaintain and follow consistent server organization and file naming conventions of existing structure and processWork on both PC and Mac platforms; design will be on the MacCommunicate and collaborate globally with other designersBe a proactive problem solver and effective communicatorWork alongside marketing stakeholders and address feedback in a timely and thoughtful mannerBe cool under pressure. Detail-oriented, self-motivated, organized, and able to multitaskRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Prior in-house creative services, studio, non-profit, museum, educational experience preferredWork efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment, with a "do-it-all" attitude with the ability to take on both large and small tasksExpert knowledge of print production and digital prepress processesExpertise in the event design space, both in-person and digitalExpert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), and Microsoft OfficeObsessed with typography and creative problem-solvingAbility to review own work for quality control against client's requestAbility to receive and implement art direction through layout revisionsAbility to work within and expand upon a dynamic and defined visual/brand systemExperience in photographic selection, cropping, and minor retouching is essentialAbility to mock up concepts for presentation, both digitally and physicallyStrong printing/prepress skills with the ability to create and review file image quality, color space accuracy, and proper mechanical setup prior to releasing for final printingExperience with Workfront a plusExperience in Sketch, Sketch Up, and WordPress a plusQualifications:

5+ years experience in production and graphic designAbility to work in a high-volume and fast-paced environmentProven examples in a portfolio of the type of production work listed above (event architecture design, brochures, reports, digital assets, pre-press, color)Strong track record both as an individual contributor and as a key member of a teamStrong communication skills, approachable, and drivenManaging your own project schedules and job ownership to meet deadlinesA portfolio that demonstrates extraordinary design ability across a wide range of media including digital, social, print, and events (motion a plus)Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop + After Effects a plus)
