SUMMARY

This role oversees the development and execution of communication strategies to enhance clients' brand image and influence. You will lead teams in crafting compelling narratives, handling crisis communications, and fostering relationships with key stakeholders to align brand reputation with business goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Offer strategic and innovative content solutions, add/contribute to client meetings, and create work that aligns with organizational goals and objectives.Curate communications recommendations that align to client needs.Craft compelling narratives and stories that effectively communicate a brand's message to various stakeholders, including employees, customers, partners, and the media.Maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their company, brand, industry and needs.Collaborate with other agency departments to develop campaign recommendations or communicate project status; provide input and status updates to management regarding all assigned clients.Identify growth opportunities with clients and assume leadership on rapid growth accounts.Manage "PR" team efforts to develop thought leadership platforms and content and channel extensions.Provide strategic counsel to ensure public relations activities align with client brand and objectives. Recommend strategic use of appropriate public relations communication tools.Develop strategic recommendations across content, digital and social channels.Identify potential risks and develop plans to effectively manage and mitigate reputational harmStay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve our communication strategies and tactics.Foster relationships with media outlets, influencers, and key stakeholders to proactively pitch stories and secure coverage in traditional, social and non-traditional media channels. Job will require relationships with trade publications and organizationsLead, mentor, and provide guidance to a team of communication professionals, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism or equivalent experience; 7-10 years of experience preferably in an agency environment.Must have PR agency experience, including account leadership.Fluent in social posting/listening software and analysis.Strong ability to communicate via virtual/remote channels.Passion - in writing and concepting ability and strong attention to detail.Experience creating and managing digital content.Works independently with a strong attention to detail.Exceptional communication, presentation, and time management skills, particularly in virtual settings.Ability to appropriately obtain and utilize reference material to generate and communicate original ideas effectively.Expertise on established and emerging social media channels.Proven ability to lead communications activities and successfully maintain organization's image.Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve goals.Self-motivated and able to thrive in a remote work environment, managing time and priorities effectively.PERSONAL SKILLS AND CHARACTER TRAITS
