Role Summary
Anthropologie is looking for a Soft Wovens Apparel Design intern to join us for the Summer of 2025. This intern would focus on working with the apparel team and would support our growing categories in the business. This person would support all design functions related to apparel.

The URBN 2025 Summer Internship Program will run from 6/2 through 8/8 at our Home Office in Philadelphia, PA.
Summer Internship Program Application Process:
Apply to one (1) internship posting that best suits your interest & skills. If there is a project component required for the design internship position you are applying for, you will be notified directly by 11/8. If requested to complete a project, it is required that you submit this to be considered for a position.Complete Video Interview: Candidates selected will receive an email with a link to complete a video Interview. You will have 2 days to complete this portion of the application once the email is received.Interviews will be scheduled with our internal teams, continuing on a rolling basis.
Applications will close at 5:00pm EST on November 4th 2024.
Role Responsibilities
Assist in the development of product, selecting trims and colors as directed by design team.Organize samples and trims..Assist with sketching, CAD, draping, fabric and fittingsCollaborate with the design team to identify emerging trends and contribute to inspiration research.Assist in the creation of tech-packs and partner with cross-functional Product Development Partners.Attend and participate in weekly design meetings, fittings, and relevant benchmark meetings.Communicate & collaborate with partners in Merchandising, Buying, Production & Design.Partnership with overseas factories and PD/Sourcing teams for shipping and working calendar.Role Qualifications
Strong sketching abilities via hand & CAD.Proven ability to recognize, research and report on industry trend direction, color direction, and fabric innovations approximately 9-12 months ahead of season & as they relate to the target customer.Creative mindset capable of responding to business objectives with creative, innovative, and cost-effective design solutions.Please link or attach a design portfolio or design work samples to your application.
