ABOUT THIS ROLEWe’re looking for a creative problem solver who is passionate about telling stories and bringing them to life with art direction and design that makes the technical feel human and authentic. You must be comfortable working across all mediums. You're a conceptual thinker and storyteller with a strong strategic backbone who can visualize your ideas in new and inspiring ways. You have a strong point of view on concept, design, product design and art direction. When you decide to make something, you see your vision from concept to launch.
Required Skills:
Art Director Responsibilities:
Art direct, design and concept brand expressions across a variety of mediums, including mobile, product, film, interactive, OOH, print, events, experiential etc.
An understanding of how art direction, design and conceptual ideas can be used to tell a story on behalf of a brand and within a product
Present ideas in a clear and focused way that builds consensus within the team
Work collaboratively within a cross-functional team environment
Create original, breakthrough work
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
1+ years of agency/in-house concepting and art directing ideas for brand and product
Can design, art direct and articulate conceptual design decisions
Experience to bring ideas to life with high quality comps and prototypes use creative software and other tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Sketch, Keynote, etc)
History of self-initiated projects
Detail-focused with an eye for visual craft
Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment
Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in a directly related field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta.
Public Compensation:
$35.10/hour to $111,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
