Senior Manager, Marketing & Sales Strategy Planning

Franklin, TN .Job Summary As a consultant to Marketing & Sales strategic planning initiatives, provides clear, concise and actionable insights and recommendations regarding performance and growth trends in the market. Proactively offers management recommendations and strategic insight to assist with decision making with responsibility for the following:Provide in-depth financial, operational, marketplace and business analyses of new and long-term growth opportunities, operating in cross-functional nature.Explore new operational efficiencies for EV transition.Coordinate Mid-Term Plan and Business Plan submissions on behalf of Nissan & INFINITI Marketing & Sales.Job Functions The following job function statements describe the general nature and level of work being performed. The job function statements reflect expectations of the fully trained, proficient incumbent who meets all performance criteria.Collaborate with Nissan and INFINITI (Directors and Senior Managers) on identifying, analyzing and proposing new growth initiatives, including evaluating viability, potential competitiveness, financial sustainability (FCF, NPV), operational potential and potential implementation tactics. Prepare comprehensive analysis on each growth opportunity in a consultative capacity, presenting collaborative proposals to senior Nissan/ Infiniti leadership.Coordinate BP and MTP submissions with requisite department heads; including action plans, status tracking, and regular report-out to executive leadership. Focus will be on both quality and timeliness of each submission. While not responsible for each department submission, rather the consolidation of each into a holistic plan, provide a wider theme and context for each department.In conjunction with CPLAN, EV Strategy and Transformation Teams, identify and coordinate key initiatives in NNA preparedness for the electrification era. Equally, with CPLAN and EV, collaborate with NML departments on localization of EV-focused initiatives.Provide consultative analysis and research on current and future vehicle trends that will influence NNA strategy, industry-impacting macro-economic dynamics, and learnings from other industries that could aid in further operational and strategic opportunities for NNA.Collaborate with CCS and other departments to determine a long-term strategy for alternative revenue streams.Oversee third party vendor and agency relationships required to complete selected project initiatives.As necessary, performs other related duties of which the above are representative.Minimum Qualifications The following qualification statements reflect the minimum skills and abilities required of the qualified applicant.Job Knowledge:

Ability to navigate a critical path using own strategic thinking, judgment, innovation and ingenuity, without appreciable direction. Financial, project management and operational skills are imperative for a successful consideration of new strategies, requiring a strong ability to think strategically, beyond current operational boundaries, and into the mid-term. Passion for research, understanding trends, and conducting comprehensive proposals for executive consideration. Ability to plan, schedule and manage projects to implementation that result in innovative and effective solutions. Excellent oral, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Excellent vendor management and relationship management skills. Knowledge of the auto industry strongly preferred, obtained either at national, in retail or regional operations. Strong attention to detail required. Possesses ability to work across functions and with other groups; foster teamwork in order to resolve complex problems in day-to-day situations.Experience:

Ten or more years of related experience at a professional level, including external consulting experience. Automotive industry experience required. Experience presenting and working with executives. One to two years in a work leader role managing and leading the work of other employees or contractors.Education/Certification:

Bachelor's degree in a related discipline. Master's degree in business, Economics or Finance strongly preferred.Computer Skills:

Thorough computer knowledge such as word processor, spreadsheet, other PC applications, or mainframe applications to resolve complex problems in day-to-day situations.Physical Requirements The physical requirements described below are representative of those an employee must normally meet to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
