The Vice President of Marketing will be responsible for leading a team of diverse marketing professionals and for overseeing all “end to end” commercial marketing activities from strategy to planning to execution and evaluation. They will be responsible for the ongoing assessment of marketing capabilities and processes to adapt to the evolving needs of the enterprise in serving our diverse consumer, customer, and community landscape.The successful candidate will align to our Cultural Norms and possess a strong GM mindset with demonstrated success in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. He/she must be grounded in fundamental principles of Marketing while possessing a strong Operational Marketing background/knowledge; preferably in the consumer packaged goods industry. They should be knowledgeable and committed to integrating Digital into the overall marketing mix as a key enabler to increase marketing effectiveness and efficiency. Lastly, and most importantly, they must have high emotional IQ and be adept at leading teams, developing talent and performance management.Responsibilities:Lead and develop a diverse team; inclusive of hourly employees.Lead in the development of the joint business plans with key brand partners and customers.Develop effective category management & shopper insights capabilities.Lead beverage segmentation efforts to in alignment with company’s broader segmentation strategy.Manage all “end to end” marketing activities including program design, development, implementation, execution, and evaluation.Leverage key Community partnerships as part of the commercial planning process.Manage Sales collateral and content & develop Picture of Success in a timely manner.Execute impactful experiential marketing programs to create customer and community value.Leverage Field Audit Team to measure execution and identify key opportunity areas.Effectively manage the media mix with a high emphasis on developing digital marketing capabilities.Review all consumer, industry, and category research to identify trends and opportunities to pursue.Participate in the identification, evaluation and development of new products, merchandising, distribution, and venture opportunities.Research and drive new and innovative ways to market Coca-Cola products.Develop and administer the marketing budget.Lead in the development of the frontline incentive calendar in alignment to the commercial plan.Implement testing programs to identify business-building initiatives.Manage and maintain effective Vendor relationships.Manage POS Store operations w/ a continuous improvement mindset to increase efficiency & effectiveness.Insure the effectiveness and efficiency of in-house print operations.Serve as the primary point of contact for brand partner relationships including The Coca-Cola Company brands, Monster Energy, Bodyarmor Sports Nutrition, and Fairlife.Represent Coke Florida in key system governance routines including the Commercial Planning Sub-Committee (CPSC), Product Life-Cycle Management Sub-committee (PLM) and Monster Energy National Bottler Committee.For this Role you will need:A minimum of 10 years of senior-level marketing experience in the customer packaged goods industry, preferably in food or beverages, with extensive operational marketing experience.Successful track record as an enterprise leader with a strong general manager orientation.Experience managing multiple projects concurrently in a dynamic environment.At least 5 years of management and supervisory experience; leading a large team with diverse knowledge, skills and abilities.Stays abreast of all current market trends & committed to his/her personal development.Successfully position products within highly competitive product categories.Ability to synthesize research and information to create compelling marketing and advertising programs on a limited budget.Proven experience at driving teams and building consensus with cross-functional areas.Promotes teamwork and possess strong interpersonal skills.Adapts to business changes readily and enthusiastically.Experience with Digital Media.Effective Project Management skills.This job description is not an exhaustive list of all functions that the employee may be required to perform, and the employee may be required to perform additional functions.
