Through its varied programs, AIChE continues to be a focal point for information exchange on the frontiers of chemical engineering research in such areas as energy, sustainability, biological and environmental engineering, nanotechnology, and chemical plant safety and security.Position SummaryThe AIChE Conference Marketing team is responsible for the discovery, design, development and delivery of AIChE’s marketing initiatives, working closely with cross-functional groups within AIChE.As a Marketing Associate, you will be responsible for executing multiple marketing initiatives aimed at promoting our conferences. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, possesses strong skills in proofreading, communicates ideas and actions with clarity, excels in both digital marketing (including email, social media, and retargeting ads) and traditional marketing approaches, and efficiently collaborates with external vendors.ResponsibilitiesUnder the guidance of the Associate Director of Conferences, your key objectives will include:Implementing marketing campaigns and strategies aligned with organizational goals, encompassing:Digital marketing (social media, email campaigns, retargeting ads)Production coordination (working with creative teams, printers, mail houses, and promotional execution)Work closely with the conference programing lead to develop value proposition, define target lists, and create a strategic plan for each conferencesCreate and proofread marketing content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand messagingAssist in the development and execution of surveys and other research initiativesManage marketing deliverables and calendars effectivelyCoordinate with the logistics team to ensure delivery of onsite materialsPartner with the sales team to ensure fulfillment of sponsor deliverablesServe as the point person for our organic social postsManage LinkedIn page to enhance visibility and increase engagementSkillsStrong organizational acumenExpertise in:
