Position Summary The AIChE Conference Marketing team is responsible for the discovery, design, development and delivery of AIChE’s marketing initiatives, working closely with cross-functional groups within AIChE. As a Marketing Associate, you will be responsible for executing multiple marketing initiatives aimed at promoting our conferences. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, possesses strong skills in proofreading, communicates ideas and actions with clarity, excels in both digital marketing (including email, social media, and retargeting ads) and traditional marketing approaches, and efficiently collaborates with external vendors. Responsibilities Implementing marketing campaigns and strategies aligned with organizational goals, encompassing: Digital marketing (social media, email campaigns, retargeting ads) Production coordination (working with creative teams, printers, mail houses, and promotional execution) Work closely with the conference programming lead to develop value proposition, define target lists, and create a strategic plan for each conference Create and proofread marketing content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand messaging Assist in the development and execution of surveys and other research initiatives Manage marketing deliverables and calendars effectively Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure delivery of onsite materials Partner with the sales team to ensure fulfillment of sponsor deliverables Serve as the point person for our organic social posts Manage LinkedIn page to enhance visibility and increase engagement Skills Strong organizational acumen Expertise in: Audience segmentation Social media management Email marketing Ability to meet stringent deadlines Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated aptitude for collaborating in cross-functional teams Software Proficiencies Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams Social and content management platforms, such as Sprout Social Email marketing tools such as Informz and Constant Contact Project management software SmartSheet Knowledge of survey technologies like Qualtrics and Survey Monkey Educational and Work Experience Requirements Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in marketing 4-6 years of relevant experience Compensation : Full-Time - $55,000- $65,000 We offer a variety of benefits to our employees including: Bonus opportunity Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance Flexible Spending Account 403b Retirement Plan with Company Match: AIChE 100% of the first 3% of your eligible pay you contribute to the plan Paid Vacation and Sick Days Holiday pay Educational Assistance Company Paid Life Insurance Company Paid Short Term and Long Term Disability Insurance Various Employee Perks and Discounts The American Institute of Chemical Engineers is an Equal Opportunity Employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
