OVERVIEWIn this internship, you'll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in every aspect of the design process, helping to shape and advance Luno’s mission to make adventure more comfortable and accessible through thoughtfully crafted vehicle-based camping gear. This role provides hands-on experience from concept development to final product realization. You'll collaborate closely with our skilled designers, engineers, and marketing team to bring innovative ideas to life while gaining valuable industry insights. Throughout the internship, you'll receive mentorship from seasoned professionals and have the chance to build a diverse and impactful portfolio.

RESPONSIBILITIESCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet technical, aesthetic, and user experience requirementsParticipate in design reviews, brainstorming sessions, and other collaborative activities.Attend meetings and maintain a close connection with the management team, Support the team in preparing detailed design specifications, renderings, and documentation for production.ShareDrive communication of the product’s design intent to engineering staff and manufacturers.Conduct research on industry trends, materials, and manufacturing processes to inform design decisions. in the car camping industry.Help in developing products through conceptual sketching, prototypes, 2D and 3D computer software.Gain a solid understanding of manufacturing and engineering processes involved in consumer product development. You will obtain extensive insight and knowledge of production methods and materials.Learn how to establish and manage projects including schedule, resources, deliverables, and reviews.

QUALIFICATIONSCurrently pursuing a degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field.Proficient in Adobe Suite– especially Illustrator.Proficient in Solidworks or other comparable CAD program.Proficiency in concept development, sketching, and design researchProficient in Google Suite.Passion for innovation, creativity, and attention to detailAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate design ideas effectively.Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Confident in the ability to balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change positively.Self-motivated with the ability to use own initiative.
