Find out more about the daily tasks, overall responsibilities, and required experience for this opportunity by scrolling down now.Montalvo Arts Center is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to maintain our website - to ensure that it is interactive and up to date, and to maintain Montalvo’s presence along all social media channels. This role involves planning, executing, and optimizing all digital tools to achieve desired actions and results. The ideal candidate for this role will be self-motivated, have outstanding organizational skills, high attention to detail, experience balancing multiple projects and deadlines, and have a strong understanding of digital marketing, content creation, audience engagement and email marketing.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Manage and maintain montalvoarts.org website using WordPress.

Work with box office and an API platform to build all ticketed events on our website.

Plan, execute and optimize digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including email, social media, webpages, search engines and display advertising.

Create content for weekly digital newsletter.

Manage budgets for various digital marketing initiatives with minimal oversight, demonstrating strong fiscal responsibility.

Build and manage relationships with external partners and vendors to support marketing initiatives.

Perform other related duties as required.

Education, Skills and Experience:

5+ years’ experience in nonprofit marketing.

Expertise in CRM databases in a nonprofit setting required; experience with Tessitura strongly preferred.

Proficiency with WordPress required.

Experience creating content for social media, especially Facebook and Instagram.

Understanding of Google Analytics and how to track marketing campaigns using traffic and conversion data.

Ability to work cooperatively as part of a marketing team, and with all organizational staff, volunteers, trustees, community members, vendors and outside designers.

Ability to write engagingly, entertainingly, and accurately.

Experience with WordFly and/or MailChimp, or other email marketing platforms required.

Outside-of-the-box thinker, self-motivated, detail oriented and well organized.

A passion for the arts is essential.

Working Conditions & Physical Tasks:

Typical office environment; requires the ability to remain seated at a computer workstation for extended periods. Some job functions may be performed outdoors. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee may lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.

Must be able to work some weekends and evenings as needed.

Local travel may be required; must have a valid driver’s license and access to own vehicle and clean DMV record.

Compensation:

$70,000 - $80,000 per year
