The Coordinator will oversee and manage the Intro to Chamber Ensemble (ICE) Program at the Colburn Community School of Performing Arts in addition to teaching in the program. The ICE Program introduces young musicians from ages 9-13 to the skills necessary for success in a small chamber music ensemble with the aim that they will continue onto the Chamber Music Institute (CHMI).

You could be just the right applicant for this job Read all associated information and make sure to apply.Essential Duties of the Position:Organize and set curriculum for monthly master class/group class to be held on select Sundays from 1:00-2:00pm.Check on reservations for rooms, halls, and communicate set-up needs to production as needed.Remind parents and students of the class the week beforehand.Take attendance and share it with the CSPA Chamber Chair following each session.Coach two to four weekly ensembles.Secure additional coaches as needed.Other Required Duties:Attend school and departmental events.Evaluate students as appropriate.Perform administrative tasks associated with students’ attendance and performance records.Provide updates to Chamber Department Chair as needed.Perform other related duties.Qualifications:Master degree or higher, or equivalent professional experience preferred with significant interest and experience in coaching young chamber music groups.Active performing/studio career preferred.Ability to contribute to a positive, supportive team environment required.Ability to work with a diverse student population required.Good communication skills.Compensation:

Base pay rate of $70-$74 for each one-hour master class/group class, or each 45–60-minute coaching session, which is inclusive of any related preparation or administrative duties.
