Skills, Experience, Qualifications, If you have the right match for this opportunity, then make sure to apply today.JOB SUMMARY:The Vice President of Marketing and Communications is a senior leader of Delta Waterfowl and is responsible for the entirety of branding, messaging, and communication products created to represent Delta Waterfowl, while maintaining an appropriate interaction with the program and fundraising departments. This position manages a team of writers, marketers, project managers, digital media content creators, and administrative staff to execute effective organizational marketing and communication across a variety of platforms (e.g., Delta Waterfowl magazine, social media, website, etc.) and partner outlets.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Develop and manage an annual budget for MARCOM and corporate relations.Provide direct supervision and ongoing leadership to the Senior Director of Corporate Relations, Communications Director, Marketing Director, and Assistant Director of MARCOM, as well as to other team members.Maintain a close working relationship with the programs department to ensure the timely and accurate promotion of Delta programs and initiatives.Build and oversee the appropriate communication mechanisms for interacting with the various fundraising departments (i.e., major gifts, annual giving, fundraising events).Oversee the annual and future planning for all aspects of the MARCOM department and Delta’s overall marketing, communications and related future growth goals.Represent the MARCOM department to the staff, board, and the public as needed.Manage all regulatory requirements pertaining to trademarks and copyrights for Delta Waterfowl.Establish strong partnerships with other departments to ensure all of their MARCOM needs are being met.Other duties as assigned.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Bachelor’s Degree in a related marketing, communications or related field and at least five years of leadership experience.Must work well with the general public and in a team environment.Must be organized and able to prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.Problem solving skills and ability to respond to change.Strong analytical skills and ability to manage data in Excel and other software.Excellent alphanumeric entry skill with low error rate.Ability to travel on occasions.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk and listen. The employee requires dexterity in using telephone, computer keyboard, mouse, calculator and other office equipment. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and navigate stairs.
