About the Bismarck Larks

The Bismarck Larks joined the Northwoods League (NWL) in 2017. The NWL is the largest organized baseball league in the world, with 26 teams, drawing more fans than any league of its kind. The NWL provides top college players from North America and beyond a summer collegiate baseball experience. Over 340 Northwoods League players have advanced to Major League Baseball in the NWL's 31-year history.

The Position

The Graphic Designer will be responsible for aiding in the design and creative execution of the Bismarck Larks, Funatix Events, Minot Hot Tots, and Minot Honeybees brands and all projects related to each brand. The graphic Designer will work on various projects while acting as a creative consultant for internal departments.

Roles and ResponsibilitiesDevelop visually compelling graphics for digital and print media, including posters, flyers, social media content, and promotional materials.Design and produce marketing collateral that aligns with the brand identity of the Bismarck Larks, Minot Hot Tots, Minot Honeybees, and Funatix Events.Create engaging visuals for game day experiences, including stadium signage, video board graphics, and promotional items.Design materials for Funatix Events, enhancing the visual appeal and overall experience for attendees.Design and update website graphics, banners, and other visual elements to ensure an attractive and user-friendly online presence.Produce eye-catching graphics for social media posts, stories, and advertisements to drive engagement and reach.Collaborate with the marketing, writing, and multimedia teams to produce integrated multimedia campaigns.Design and execute visual elements for promotional campaigns, including email marketing, print ads, and online advertisements.Assist with photography and video production as needed, providing support in visual storytelling and content creation.Edit and enhance photos and videos to produce high-quality visual content.Represent the team at various networking events and participate in other outside, community events, as defined by the teamGeneral Team Responsibilities

Game and Team Event Availability:

Expected to be available for all Bismarck Larks home games and team events; this includes weekends and holidays.Funatix Event Availability:

Expected to be available for all Funatix Events, including but not limited to the Mandan Rodeo Days, Bismarck Marathon, company picnics, festivals, etc. A full event list will be provided. This includes weekends and holidays.Game Day and Event Hours:

Expected to be available from mid- to late morning through the end of the game and/or event. The schedule will be decided by the direct supervisor on a homestand and event basis.Non-Game Day/Event Hours:

Expected to attend office hours of 8 AM-5 PM each weekday during season and out-of-season.Other General Team Responsibilities May Include:

Cleaning and organizing the press box and other ballpark areas.Assist with ballpark set-up and tear-down before and after season and during each homestandAssist with event set-up and tear-down at team eventsHelp maintain ballpark cleanlinessAll other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

*Vacation days are awarded at the discretion of the General Manager, and no maximum number of days is allowed per calendar year. All vacation requests must be received at least two weeks before the needed time off. Vacation time is discouraged from April 1- September 1 due to in-season responsibilities. If you are sick, please let the President know as soon as possible.
