Badlands Big Sticks Baseball is a summer collegiate baseball team located in Dickinson, North Dakota. Founded in 2018, the team has been providing family-oriented entertainment with great baseball to Dickinson and the surrounding communities ever since.
In 2024, the Badlands Big Sticks will become members of the Northwoods League - a summer collegiate wood bat league founded in 1994 with 26 teams across seven states and one province, which has produced over 300 Major Leaguers in its 30-year history.
We are proud to represent the people of Western North Dakota and exemplify the spirit of Theodore Roosevelt.
Internship Information:Start Date: 2nd Week of May (TENTATIVE)End Date: 2nd Week of August (TENTATIVE)Housing providedCurrent enrollment in a college program is requiredExpected to be available for all Badlands Big Sticks home games and team events, this includes weekends and holidaysExpected to be available during the entirety of games/events from report time through conclusion of responsibilities. Schedule will be dictated by supervisor and is subject to change dailyExpected to be available on non-game days to attend meetings, work office hours, and complete responsibilities as assignedMust be able to aid in all areas of team operation including, but not limited to, ballpark set-up and tear-down on gamedays, pre and post-season cleaning and organization, acting as the mascot when needed, and taking out the trashRole Responsibilities
Create graphics for all 72 games of the 2025 seasonPost on all Big Sticks social media platforms before, during, and after the gameUse social media to promote games and eventsCreate content for all platforms (Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn)Create graphics for the team websiteAssist in graphic design for broadcast as neededWork with Ticket Sales to promote ticketsExpand social media outreach and followingShape the Big Sticks brand through the use of graphic designOther duties as assignedQualifications
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree programMust have previous graphic design experienceProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office is requiredExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a high-performing teamStrong organizational and project management skillsProficiency in all social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, X, Facebook), and experience in digital marketing is requiredAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysWillingness to help othersCredit
