What You Will Achieve

The US Gene Therapy Franchise is one of the most rapidly growing businesses across Pfizer Biopharma, with four breakthrough asset launches in the next 2 years. The team is progressing launch readiness efforts for Pfizer’s very first gene therapy medicine in a “Create” market, currently in late-stage (Phase 3) development for treatment of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). Fordadistrogene movaparvovec is truly a breakthrough medicine with potential to transform treatment of DMD, a rare and fatal neurological condition affecting young boys.

The HCP marketing senior manager will play a critical role in establishing the foundation of end-to-end HCP engagement and launch readiness preparation, including leading core workstreams like Omnichannel, Peer to Peer, and Congresses and acting as a US lead for prioritized GLocal projects. This individual will also be a key contributor in brand pillars such as positioning, creative campaign, and messaging as well as core Marketing Transformation efforts across the brand. Lastly, this role will have the critical role of Brand Budget Lead, working cross-functionally to manage team resources and key Finance deliverables.

This position requires strategic thinking and prioritization, change-agility, thoughtful partnership across many functions, and the ability to lead through a diverse set of external stakeholders. This role will also require someone who will thrive in the white space of a competitive new class of therapies. The successful candidate should demonstrate strong communication and analytical skills, exemplary leadership, detail-oriented execution, with a proven track record of fostering cross-functional collaboration and delivering exceptional results. This position reports to the HCP and Engagement Team Lead.

How You Will Achieve It

Lead HCP omnichannel strategy and tactical execution, including creation of digital personas to ground personal and non-personal engagement efforts, facilitate positive, tailored HCP experiences, and build deeper disease state, patient journey, and eventually brand familiarity among target HCPsLead DMD social listening in partnership with BAI, coordinating across functions to capture key areas of interest and sharing of insightsDevelop and maintain brand.com websites, brand.com website traffic drivers, and select online platforms.Lead and optimize HCP media investment through robust measurement plan and coordination of creative benchLead development and enhancement of DMD Peer to Peer programming, including the deployment of new tracking and engagement capabilities with key external partnersLead Congress strategy and execution, delivering on brand objectives in critical HCP forumsManage brand budget, overseeing spend across cross-functional workstreams, leading project initiation and tracking across Pfizer platforms, and coordinating leadership budget updatesAct as US HCP lead on core GLocal digital resource developmentSupport core GLocal workstreams such as HCP positioning, message development and creative campaignPartner closely with CAI, SAS, Medical and Global teams to uncover key strategic customer insights and translate into actionable strategiesPartner with US DMD marketing teammates in development and execution of the Operating PlanTrack performance of marketing initiatives to assess early launch learnings and drive continuous improvement and investment efficiencies

Qualifications

Must-Have

BA/BS degree required, MBA or other advanced degree highly desirable7+ years of healthcare industry experience including pharmaceutical marketing requiredPrevious product launch and in-line US Marketing experience preferredRare disease or specialty experience strongly preferredDemonstrated success in developing, executing, and measuring complex marketing programs in white space that drive performanceDemonstrated ability to work effectively with varied internal stakeholders to identify key customer insights and translate into actionable strategiesSolid business acumen and organizational skills with excellent interpersonal communication skills for a wide variety of audiences, including senior managementStrong analytical skills; detail and action oriented; creativeSelf-motivated and a team playerDemonstrated ability to manage and deliver results on multiple, complex, competing projects in a deadline-oriented environmentCandidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $113,900.00 to $189,700.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
