Lyman Products is seeking a talented and experienced executive with strong leadership skills to direct their sales and marketing team and to achieve the objectives outlined in their strategic plan. We seek a self-motivated professional with a proven track record of marketing in a consumer products environment. The candidate will have strong managerial and leadership skills. Experience working in a social media environment is required. The position reports to the CEO.

Create and maintain a strategy that supports and grows the company’s legacy brands with a high-level focus on its new Mark 7 division.

Utilize innovation and creativity to create brand new strategies across multiple platforms that attract customers and succeed over the competition.

Research and develop marketing opportunities and plans, understanding consumer requirements, identifying market trends, and suggesting system improvements to achieve the company's marketing goals.

Research new product opportunities for incremental growth and work with engineering and manufacturing teams to assure their successful introduction.

Stay current in the industry by attending educational opportunities, conferences, and workshops, reading publications, and maintaining personal and professional networks.

Position Requirements:

A bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.

10 years of experience in a senior marketing position, preferably in the outdoor industry. Knowledge of the shooting sports industry is a plus.

Strong skill set in direct-to-consumer retail marketing and brand development.

Knowledge of internet marketing campaigns, including SEO.

Ability to interact and make presentations to the Board of Directors.

Strong analytical, organizational, and creative thinking skills.

Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate a team.

Knowledge of ERP systems and strong written communication skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Willingness to work outside standard working hours as needed.

Some travel may be required.
