Open Arts Alliance, a leading organization dedicated to fostering arts education and producing high-quality theatrical experiences, is seeking a dynamic and versatile individual to join our team as music director. This position will play a crucial role in our upcoming fall production of "A CHRISTMAS CAROL" presented at the iconic Carnegie Hall.

Responsibilities:- Lead performances: must be able to play piano- Ensure quality and consistency; balancing the melody, rhythm, timing, and volume- Arrange music for student singers- Guide student singers and provide meaningful feedback- Working knowledge of voice and piano- Collaborative and "problem-solving" personality.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in music or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Proven experience working with student performers.

Strong organizational skills, with meticulous attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Excellent piano skills.

Additional Information:This is a part-time (ongoing) position based in Greenwich, CT (easily accessible from New York City via I95 or Metro North).
