Our Vision is to become the world class data science team, where data is used rigorously to drive all decision making. Our mission is to drive monetization and sustainable revenue growth for TikTok through data science.We understand the importance of accurate measurement and robust attribution in driving successful advertising campaigns. Our Ads Measurement, Identity, and Attribution team is at the forefront of this mission, leveraging cutting-edge data science to solve complex problems and deliver actionable insights.We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship in 2025. Internships at TikTok aim to offer students industry exposure and hands-on experience. Turn your ambitions into reality as your inspiration brings infinite opportunities at TikTok.This Internship Program runs for 12 weeks beginning in May/June 2025. Successful candidates must be able to commit to one of the following summer internship start dates below:Monday, May 12Monday, May 19Tuesday May 27 (Memorial Day May 26)Monday, June 9Monday, June 23We will prioritize candidates who are able to commit to these start dates. Please state your availability clearly in your resume (Start date, End date).Candidates can apply to a maximum of two positions and will be considered for jobs in the order you apply. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis - we encourage you to apply early.ResponsibilitiesWork with large and complex data sets to solve a wide array of challenging problems using different analytical methods.Design, analyze, and interpret insights end-to-end on a project from data requirement gathering to data processing, modeling, and impactful business recommendations.Partner with cross-functional teams to identify new opportunities requiring the use of sophisticated analytical and modeling techniques.Design, execute, and interpret results of experiments (e.g., A/B testing).Effectively communicate insights and recommendations to team leadership and influence strategic decision-making.QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:Currently pursuing a PhD in Statistics or other quantitative field.BA/BS in Math, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or other quantitative fields.Sustained track record of driving business value and improving product with data insights, especially in advertising, growth, marketing or relevant domains.Fluency in SQL or other programming languages (Python, R etc) for data manipulation.Preferred Qualifications:The ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance.The ability to communicate the results of analyses in a clear and effective manner.TikTok is committed to creating an inclusive space where employees are valued for their skills, experiences, and unique perspectives. We cover 100% premium coverage for Full-Time intern medical insurance after 90 days from the date of hire. Medical coverage only, no dental or vision coverage.Our time off and leave plans are: Paid holidays and paid sick leave. The sick leave entitlement is based on the time you join.We also provide mental and emotional health benefits through our Employee Assistance Program and provide reimbursements for your mobile phone expense.
