Eagle Health, a subsidiary of Cape Fox Corporation, is seeking a

Senior Technical Writer

to support the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA). The ideal candidate will provide support for reviewing and updating various national policies and procedures regarding environmental compliance and Tribal trust asset management. The candidate should be a technical expert in the

National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA)

and have a broad understanding of

Tribal trust asset management regulations

as well as the methodologies associated with policy development, stakeholder coordination, and implementation. This position is remote.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Ensure you read the information regarding this opportunity thoroughly before making an application.Responsibilities/Duties:Work will involve reviewing and updating various policies and procedures utilized by Indian Affairs (IA). This includes policies identified in Indian Affairs Manual Part 59 and the Indian Affairs National Environmental Policy Act Guidebook.

Conduct a thorough review of various Indian Affairs policies and procedures to identify areas that require updates and revisions.

Work with IA on the development and drafting of new policies and procedures as necessary to address any gaps identified during the review. Providing recommendations for best practices and innovative measures that can be implemented to improve policies and procedures.

Provide guidance on implementation of new policies and procedures to relevant departments and agencies within the federal government.

Provide training plans, resources and PowerPoint presentations that IA can utilize to train relevant personnel on the updated policies and procedures.

Research, organize, write, edit, and produce data for a wide variety of highly complex technical publications.

Recommend overall organization and layout, editorial standards, and publication methods.

Coordinate publication with outside sources and vendors.
