They provide consistent leadership by bringing new ideas, innovation, and opportunities to the client regularly. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience within the programmatic space with previous experience working hands-on-key within a major programmatic DSP.The SVP, Director develops go to market investment strategy, recommendation, and POV's while providing effective leadership of negotiations and creating strong vendor relationships, acting as the day to day investment lead for their designated account(s).Role Objectives:Own client relationship and education relating to media investment across all channelsProvide counsel on marketplace trends and investment expertise for clients and client teams. Be a thought leader in alternative buying models and integrated projects.Maintain, develop and grow relationships with appropriate client level contactsInject ideas, innovation and leading industry developments into every assignment, including day-to-day client communicationsConsistently drive the use of analytics to inform/validate investment strategies, tactical planning and on-going optimizations across all mediaCollaborate with all partner agencies on your LOB, but also internally across all LOBsStrategically develop campaigns across the funnel to align with clients strategic goals and KPIsManage negotiation and implementation of added value inventory, research partnerships, and custom sponsorship elements when applicableStrong and proven ability to trouble-shoot and quickly problem solve campaign management issues as they arise, as well as effectively partner with strategy directors to appropriately communicate issues with clientsQualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher, with a concentration in advertising, marketing, business administration, communications, or equivalent12+ years of digital media buying experience, with progressive levels of responsibility, across all platforms: display, search, mobile, programmatic, and paid socialExpert knowledge of ProgrammaticPrevious team management experience with progressive leadership responsibilitiesExcellent negotiation skills and understanding of how to add incremental value without compromising communication needsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to package, merchandise, and sell in concepts and new opportunities.Strategic thinking, ability to see the bigger pictureProblem-solver with strong project management experienceSelf-starter with ability to work independently and in a collaborative team settingStrong technical proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteAdditional Information Starcom is an Equal Opportunity Employer. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
