Qualifications, skills, and all relevant experience needed for this role can be found in the full description below.About the Role:Tubi is seeking an experienced, dynamic, analytical, and deal-driven content distribution executive to join our Content Acquisitions and Partnerships team to focus on driving non-media program-sales and distribution and revenue generating non-media program partnerships tied to Tubi Original Content. This role will be a key leader on the Content Acquisitions and Partnerships team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the domestic and international TV or Film space focused on non-media program-sales and distribution, having a keen understanding of content windowing and value creation. They will be responsible for the continued growth of Tubi’s off-platform distribution efforts and managing the day-to-day of all distribution relationships.This is a hybrid role that can be based in Los Angeles, CA or New York, NY and reports to the SVP, Content Acquisitions and Partnerships.Key Responsibilities:Lead Tubi’s sales and distribution efforts with the goal of maximizing the value of Tubi Original programming through finished tape sales and format licensing.Collaborate closely with SVP of Content Acquisitions and Partnerships on co-production sales, windowing, non-media program distribution and distribution strategies.Negotiate and execute TVOD, Linear, SVOD, and Theatrical content licensing agreements with global and local distributors and licensees.Drive long-term value and craft deal structures that provide Tubi with optionality considering Tubi’s future international expansion plans.Oversee general day-to-day management of Tubi Original programming distribution pipeline.Partner with Financial Planning and Analysis to generate revenue projections, reporting and analysis and provide guidance on content windowing to optimize financial outcomes for Tubi Originals.Represent Tubi at industry markets, festivals and sales conferences, as required, to ensure strong relationships with partners and distributors.Develop market expertise by focusing on global and local programming, engagement trends and competitive intelligence to identify new and emerging opportunities.Develop an understanding of the multicultural television marketplace to evaluate sales and distribution opportunities that align Tubi Original content with cultural or social trends.Work closely with Commercial Affairs, Creative and Business & Legal Affairs teams to determine third-party rights and residual obligations to devise and execute strategies to meet targets for Tubi Original content.Liaise with distributors (internal and external) on all matters related to exploitation of rights of Tubi Original content, including windowing, scheduling, materials, marketing and planning.Coordinate with Tubi Creative Studios and third-party producers and studios to ensure all creative advertising, marketing and merchandising materials are produced to specifications and delivered in a timely manner for off-platform distribution.Requirements:Minimum of 10 years of experience in content licensing, international distribution, business development or acquisitions at a leading entertainment or technology company.Deep knowledge and understanding of the global TV and Film marketplace focused on sales, distribution, demand generation, and revenue growth strategies, including an understanding of digital video distribution technologies.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop creative, clear, and concise narratives for a variety of audiences.Exceptional ability to think strategically and execute tactically.Demonstrated ability and track record of identifying, developing, and closing complex multi-platform licensing deals.Strong quantitative and analytical skills and understanding of how to measure content value through analyzing performance metrics.Ability to work well in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment.Established relationships throughout the entertainment sector, specifically with the major studios, global indies, TV networks, and local international broadcasters, distributors, and content aggregators.Creative and innovative mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Willingness to travel to major content markets.BA or BS degree required; MBA or JD preferred.Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is listed annually below.
