You’ll oversee multiple Ground Entry Point (GEP) antenna and infrastructure designs, development, integration, and test activities. This position entails providing both technical and programmatic support to ensure successful build out of the GEPs and integration to the ground segment in support of the Missile Track Custody program.Work Model: Telecommuting is possible 1-2 days per week depending on the needs of the program and customer.What You’ll Be DoingAct as technical spokesperson for the Government MEO Missile Track Custody ground segment program office customer in contractor and international government partner interactionsServe as the integration leader and director of a team of senior technical contributors for $250M Ground Entry Points (GEPs) development effort, providing systems engineering to include requirements development, RF analyses, antenna design and production support, site surveys and trade studies, test and verification support, ground segment integration, and operational readiness assessmentsIdentify, initiate, and develop multidisciplinary support from appropriate technical resourcesEvaluate contractor performance against cost, schedule, performanceMentor less experienced personnel and serve as role modelExemplify Aerospace corporate values of objectivity and integrity while serving as a trusted agent to our government customersWhat You Need to be Successful – Senior Project Leader, Systems Engineering - Acquisition and Communications Systems EngineeringMinimum Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical subject areaMinimum of twelve years of increasingly responsible relevant professional engineering experience supporting National Security Space (NSS) missionsProven experience with NSS communications architectures development, test, and operationalizationExperience with NSS operationsKnowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)Proven ability to establish and maintain trusted relationships with government customers, SETA contractors, and key stakeholders under minimal supervisionTrack record of leading integrated multidisciplinary teamsStrong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills for interactions at all levels of corporate and government leadershipDemonstrated ability to work adaptively on multiple tasks in a small, diverse team in a fast-paced environmentWillingness to travel domestically and internationally, up to 30 percent of the timeThis position requires a current and active Secret security clearance, which is issued by the U.S. government.
