AdministrativeAMA is seeking a Technical Editor/Document Coordinator, Staff at NASA Langley Research Center in Hampton, VA.Job Description:AMA is seeking a Technical Editor/Document Coordinator, Staff to support NASA Langley Research Center’s research, engineering, and science services (RSES) contract. This position will support NASA Langley’s Safety and Mission Assurance Office (SMAO) to help produce, update, and track various procedural documents. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and dynamic individual.Responsibilities:Provide professional reviews, assessments, and recommendations pertaining to the preparation, formatting, and submission of procedural documents for the center’s formal review process.Manage, coordinate, track, and report metrics of document review cycle, including managing deadlines for reviews, completing submission paperwork, and disposition comments.Monitor and track procedural documents undergoing NASA Agency level review.Assist with document maintenance, storage, and best practices.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Business, or a related field is preferred.2+ years of technical editing or document management experience preferred.Ability to balance multiple priorities and produce quality work efficiently under short deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Strong working knowledge of Visio and Office365, including SharePoint, Teams, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation.Outstanding proactive customer service with strong problem-solving skills.Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident due to facility requirements.Analytical Mechanics Associates (AMA) is proud of our customer relationships, our diverse and dynamic work environment, and our employees' career satisfaction.
