As the Senior Specialist – Editorial and Internal Communications, you’ll be able to shape the stories we share internally with our more than 23,000 global employees while connecting what we do back to our overarching strategy. The ideal candidate has a skilled journalistic mindset – capable of finding the story, crafting it into traditional as well as digital-first formats, engaging communities, and amplifying content across multiple channels.

Working Model:

Hybrid

We have a balanced hybrid working model to ensure you get the flexibility you need, and the successful candidate will spend their time between working in the office and working from home.

Major Duties:

Serve as Managing Editor of the corporate intranet, weekly enterprise newsletter, and digital platforms such as mobile news and signage.

Proactively build an editorial calendar and maintain cadence of deployment across the business.

Employ enterprise narrative linked to our strategy to ensure cohesive storytelling and consistency of message.

Measure performance and adopt a data-driven approach to iterate and optimize editorial strategy.

Partner closely with PR team to enhance alignment and drive integrated communications for internal and external audiences.

Help create an editorial Center of Excellence that documents best practices and service-level agreements as well as self-serve options and templates.

Maintain style guide and ensure consistency across enterprise communications.

Collaborate with in-house creative team on video production and multimedia storytelling.

Evaluate story pitches and aggregate employee questions/sentiment; recommend potential agenda items for Town Halls, all-hands meetings, and Leadership platforms.

Assist in the development of mobile news channel and expanded use of visual storytelling, including infographics and video.

Amplify a DEI narrative and demonstrate how our commitment enables our business, belonging, and culture.

Provide communication support for key executives.

Share functional expertise with junior members of the editorial team.

Knowledge and Skills:

Experience in communications, journalism, or marketing roles, preferably in an internal/corporate newsroom or agency setting.

Experience in email marketing optimization.

Digital, social media, and/or external communications experience a plus.

Visual storytelling experience (video production, graphic design, and/or website design) a plus.

Experience with measurement, data analytics, and defining KPI.

Ability to operate within a strategic framework.

Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills.

Comfort interacting with senior executives across the organization and experience working with C-suite leaders.

Excellent project management and operational skills.

Proactively identify where communications plans/strategy are needed and take action.

Ability to work across a matrixed structure as well as work independently.

Ability to manage multiple complex tasks.

Passion for bringing the discipline of simplicity and continuous improvement to all aspects of work.

Expertise in internal reputation management and employee-facing campaigns.

Experience writing for DEI and CSR communications.

Phenomenal communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

Positive and collaborative attitude.

Ability to identify and anticipate communication needs.
