We are looking for a Communications Specialist (with a social media emphasis) to assist on all aspects of communications, media and digital marketing execution. This position supports the needs of all organization departments.

Experience, qualification, and soft skills, have you got everything required to succeed in this opportunity Find out below.Responsibilities:Coordinate and assist in the development, implementation and evaluation of the overall communications strategy for the organization.Build and execute social media strategy.Develop and maintain social media calendars to facilitate coordination of messaging using HubSpot platform.Set up and optimize pages within organization's various social media platforms to increase social visibility and engage both members and external audiences.Generate social media content to share on social media platforms that serves to build and grow meaningful connections with the organization's external audiences (members and non-members), while elevating brand awareness and promoting newsworthy events, programs and outcomes.Capture and analyze social data and metrics, insights and best practices.Design and edit graphics, event collateral, event invitations, PowerPoint presentations, social media content, etc.Develop and oversee website content, manage updates and track website or other digital advertising.Assist in editing of videos for in person or hybrid events.Take or obtain general level photography and/or work with photographer at in person events to oversee proper execution.Manage photography and video assets libraries.Design, gather, and develop content for digital Member Handbook/Directory (published at least annually).Update editorial calendars and schedules.Requirements & Skills:BS in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media or Public Relations required.1-3 years proven working experience in social media marketing or as a Digital Media Specialist.Excellent written communication skills and ability to write in a variety of formats/styles.Understanding of graphic design, along with the skills and ability to create and update graphics through use of desktop publishing programs (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva).Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and ability to design and edit presentations.Competency in Microsoft Teams and Microsoft suite of apps and Zoom.Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels.Basic knowledge of web platforms and ability to update website content in timely manner.Knowledge of marketing platforms such as HubSpot, and ability to create and edit emails, as well as manage email lists.Amateur video and photography editing skills, as well as experience uploading videos and maintaining YouTube Channel.Ability to work independently, excellent organization skills and strong project and time management skills to meet event and production deadlines.Must be fluent in English.This is a full-time, entry-level, non-exempt position. Applicants must reside in Miami-Dade or Broward County; this is not a remote position. You will be expected to attend events and therefore must have your own transportation.Salary
