Depending on your location, this role may be hybrid or remote.HYBRID – If you reside within 50 miles of Adtalem offices in Chicago, IL, Addison, IL, Columbia, MD, Minneapolis, MN, and Miramar, FL this role is hybrid, requiring office presence three days a week (Tue, Wed, Thu), with the rest of the workweek spent working from home.Opportunity at a GlanceAdtalem Global Education is looking for a motivated communications professional to help drive the communications strategy for its enterprise transformation initiative and other strategic corporate initiatives as they evolve. With transformation as a strategic business priority, this position will play a key role in supporting the development of communications plans and providing guidance for cross-functional project teams and leaders to ensure employees are aware of transformation efforts and recognize the value and benefit they bring to the organization, our students, alumni, and partners.Reporting to the Manager, Strategic Communications & Transformation, this individual will be responsible for telling our growth story across the company and will partner closely with the larger Global Communications team to align messaging and leverage corporate and brand channels to create a unified story.ResponsibilitiesSupport the development and execution of a communication strategy in support of our enterprise transformation journey.Ensure consistency in the use of the transformation narrative and key messages.Utilize existing communication channels and create new ones to tell the transformation story and ensure transformation initiatives are regularly communicated across key internal stakeholder groups.Work cross-functionally to understand Adtalem initiatives and strategically and effectively communicate business priorities to multiple stakeholders to drive brand alignment.Develop methods of gathering employee feedback to measure if transformation efforts are taking hold and make recommendations, as needed, to change mindset.Support ongoing reporting and analysis of measurable deliverables.Perform other duties as assigned.Comply with all policies and standards.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or journalism required; Master's Degree preferred.Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate/internal communications, public relations, marketing, strategic planning, branding, or related field.Natural storyteller with well-developed writing, editing, and journalistic skills; able to easily distill messages into believable, actionable content.Experience storyboarding for video production.Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.Strong organizational, logistical, and planning skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects under tight deadlines while maintaining work quality.Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and leaders across the organization.Curiosity for continually learning new skills and knowledge, even when their application to the work at hand is not always immediately clear.Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications, communications platforms, and project planning software.Salary and BenefitsIn support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $61,720.78 and $108,334.92. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
