In this role you will set the vision for our go to market strategy and media partnerships and establish how they contribute to the broader media strategy for a diverse range of brands. You will lead a partnerships team to strategize and implement omni-channel media plans that deliver successful outcomes based on our clients’ objectives.This role will also lead priority partnership negotiations across relevant media channels, including but not limited to developing the RFP documents, process and working with media partners to deliver proposals that meet the expectations of the overall media strategy/KPIs.This role is a perfect balance of strategy, partnership and investment, acting as the liaison between MRM Media and the entire media landscape.Your ImpactLead investment partnerships and media activation across all media channels – CTV, Audio, Product Placement / Integrations, Site Direct Partnerships, Experiential / Events, OOH.Develop go to market strategies (as an agency and for individual clients).Anticipate relevant recommendations and industry POVs to contribute to our collective thought leadership.Collaborate with Planning and Data leaders to ensure investments and partnerships are strategically relevant and commercially viable.Lead the team in RFP process for all media partnerships and ensure successful campaign execution from start to finish.Establish and maintain highly productive, mutually beneficial, affable relationships with media community and clients.Guide regular maintenance tasks inclusive of media plan changes, programming details, billing, trafficking requests to aid team in prioritization to consistently deliver with excellence.Be intimately familiar with all major investments and partnerships ready to contribute to senior client conversations.Lead marketplace assessment, industry trends leadership, broader marketing acumen and macroeconomic factors to establish clear investment strategy.Act with high integrity to maintain strong, collaborative, productive working relationships across all internal / external teams and partners and sets good example for assistant level.Your Qualifications15+ years of investment/media buying experience.Highly articulate and persuasive with ability to establish and defend a position with most senior leadership internally and externally.Strong commercial knowledge and business acumen.Polished communication skills – written, verbal, presented.Proactive, positive, solution oriented leader.A left and right brain thinker – a data powered strategist.Strong understanding of media fundamentals, including media math, target audience development, and communication goals.Proven leadership ability – managed a team of planners & supervisors.Proven ability to interact with people at all levels of an organization, fostering strong cross-functional teamwork and results.Strategic thinking ability with balanced analytical and creative approach to media.Passion for the evolving media landscape, its potential and the ambition to lead within.Flexible, adaptable management style to suit the needs of diverse personalities.At MRM, Relationship is our middle name.
