The Creative Strategy and Integration team is part of the Visual Storytelling division of ESPN Creative Studio and is responsible for the strategic creative vision and execution plan for Creative Studio’s portfolio of work. We also create and optimize new and innovative workflows across digital, streaming, broadcast and marketing. The Director of Creative Strategy and Integration is a strategic and managerial role responsible for the integration of data, analytics, creative research and streaming priorities. This role oversees UX research for Visual Storytelling and works closely with Disney Streaming and other integration partners.

All the relevant skills, qualifications and experience that a successful applicant will need are listed in the following description.Essential Functions:Fully own all UX research initiatives for marketing, linear, digital and web/app and present findings on a regular basis.Participate in performance report-outs in the marketing space to deeply understand performance metrics.Identify opportunities for case studies and discovery and bring VS teams together to discuss process and findings.Be a vocal enthusiast of culture change, leading with optimism and working across teams to set priorities and drive results.Work closely with Disney partners to ensure artwork travelling across platforms is optimized for that platform and content.Own relationships with external design production vendors, including supporting onboarding, invoicing and day-to-day projects.Qualifications:Demonstrated experience with user research, running tests, gathering and presenting data10 years experience in digital media, including at least 4 years in people managementAbility to analyze and make strategic recommendations based off a variety of analytics and constantly evolving prioritiesVery comfortable running large-scale meetings, creating and giving presentationsAdapts easily to change and is an example for the rest of the teamExperience working with production vendors, including DCOPreferred Qualifications:Demonstrated ability to present and discuss metrics and discovery in a digestible and accessible wayExperience in digital marketing, particularly setting campaign prioritiesUnderstanding of performance metrics and creative researchDeep experience with a variety of project management and analytics toolsRequired Education:High school degree or equivalentPreferred Education:Bachelor's degree in communication, journalism or related fieldAdditional Information:Preference is for this position to be based in NYC but we may consider remote.The hiring range for this position in NYC is $141,450 to $189,750 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered. The hiring range for this remote position is $128,576 to $218,460 per year, which factors in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
