Position Summary

You will play a pivotal role in fostering relationships, driving revenue growth, and overseeing strategic initiatives within advertising and media sales.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share within assigned category or agency accounts.

Serve as a key liaison to understand client needs, provide insights, and tailor solutions that align with their business goals.

Cultivate and nurture strong partnerships with key decision-makers, advocating for our services and offerings.

Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, research, and finance teams to ensure alignment and execution of strategic initiatives.

Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities and adapt strategies accordingly.

Achieve pre-determined quantitative goals, including specific revenue targets and developing relationships with high-level decision-makers.

Partner with team leadership to develop and execute overall agency or category strategy, contributing to business planning and identifying industry trends.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field.

Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in advertising sales, media sales, or related fields.

Proven track record of successfully managing large accounts, exceeding sales targets, and fostering long-term client relationships.

Strong leadership skills with experience in leading and developing high-performing teams.

Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.

Strategic thinking coupled with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.

Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant sales tools.

This position operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. Salary Range & Benefit Options for New York Applicants

Salary Range: Base salary of approximately (125,000-)300,000 annually plus bonus, commensurate with skills and experience.
