We do this by obsessing over the employee and customer experience, and driving a strategy that sets the bar. The Merchandising team at Apple inspires our customers to discover, learn about, and buy Apple products, services, and accessories through merchandising that delivers a personalized experience like no other.Lead a passionate and focused team of visual merchants in the creation of the global merchandising strategy for our hero products across our Retail stores worldwide. This role partners closely with teams across Apple and within the merchandising organization to align and evolve our global strategies to deliver outstanding customer experiences that amplify our strategic brand and product focuses.Description In this position you will:Lead and develop a team to drive results, innovation, and teamwork through communicating vision and purpose, refining workflow processes, and modeling cross-functional collaboration.Create and drive the global WW Visual Merchandising strategy for all Hero products to highlight brand storytelling, build customer engagement, and create owners.Inspire the team to produce new and creative initiatives, evolve visual layouts, and build immersive customer experiences utilizing planograms, demo experiences, and customer journey as tools.Drive awareness of Merchandising strategies through engagement and partnerships, highlighting the important role Merchandising plays in bringing products and experiences to life in our Retail stores.Foster collaboration with key Apple partners across Retail, Product Marketing, ID, and Marcom to deliver product presentation strategies that optimize and deliver on our brand priorities.Create a global, cohesive merchandising strategy, leveraging close partnerships with GEO partners to ensure scalability while empowering teams to optimize and localize.Role model inclusive leadership behaviors and build, develop, and retain diverse teams.Minimum Qualifications

8+ years of demonstrated ability with 1-3 years of leadership experience.Experience managing high performing teams in a dynamic environment.Ability to travel domestically and internationally required.MBA and Bachelor's degree (Business, Marketing, or related degree preferred) or industry equivalent experience.Preferred Qualifications

Proven track record of identifying talent and building effective teams with a focus on people development.Foster teamwork and collaboration, with a focus on aligning objectives across diverse groups.Proven background in putting the customer first and crafting unique Customer Experiences in a retail environment.Outstanding decision-making skills, with an ability to make informed decisions in highly ambiguous environments.Strong aesthetic, visual design, and presentation skills.Cross-functional agility, and ability to independently lead and achieve objectives in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.Process-oriented, with ability to flex from high-level strategy to fine attention to detail.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail.Apple is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity.
