Placing Leaders are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Design Manager. We are seeking someone with extensive Building Envelope Design experience who is confident overseeing large Glazing / Curtain Walling projects from a design perspective.
The following information aims to provide potential candidates with a better understanding of the requirements for this role.You will be overseeing the work of both internal and external subcontract designers, ensuring consistently high standards and timely production of manufacturing and construction drawings. You will be responsible for liaising with internal departments and communicating with main contractors and architects regarding any design issues, dealing with all design queries and correspondence, as well as attending meetings where required.You will be an effective communicator with the ability to overcome problems and find solutions.
