Description
POSITION SUMMARYThe Digital Marketing Specialist is accountable for the day-to-day content strategy necessary to maximize the Credit Union's online presence. Responsibilities include planning, page creation, content updates, SEO, and the use of analytics to maximize web site user experience. With a futuristic mindset, this role will leverage all available digital mediums to build brand awareness and to optimize all stages of our members' digital journeys.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIESGeneral ResponsibilitiesResponsible for maintaining and advancing the Credit Union's public facing website keeping search engine optimization (SEO) top-of-mind, while ensuring the accuracy of content and optimizing user engagement.Uses analytics to drive proactive website improvements.Adept in project management and in guiding cross-functional teams through enhancements and content updates.Ability to contribute to and oversee content calendars; execute website content updates; and schedule social media posts and interactions.Proactively develops new digital strategies that assist in driving Credit Union initiatives.Manages business listings and reviews, demonstrating strong customer service skills in responding to comments and messages.Skillfully deploys pay-per-click (PPC), paid social, and digital display ads, as needed.Proficient in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, with experience in automations and journey building.Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Media, or related field.Three years experience in a digital media specialist or similar role.HTML, WordPress and SEO experience required.
KEY COMPETENCIESWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.Strong writing and editing skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency in HTML, Wordpress, and SEO.Ability to work independently and within a team environment.Knowledge and previous experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.Familiarity with web design and development software.Possess a working knowledge of all relevant Banking Rules and Regulations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENTWork Environment : Business office, the noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit or stand at a desk the majority of the day; talk or hear; stand or walk occasionally. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is typically utilizing a computer, keyboard, and phone. May occasionally reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, and crouch.
