The position will play a key role in crafting the overall storytelling strategy for Allies of Skin, ensuring our brand narrative resonates globally. The leader in this role will develop and execute a comprehensive communications strategy, supporting major brand launches, key moments, and purpose-led initiatives, all while staying true to our brand identity. A deep understanding of emerging trends, global culture, and the current zeitgeist is essential for success in this position.Location: Los Angeles (Remote)You'll DoStrategyLead and develop robust, integrated communications strategies to drive the brands’ businesses and elevate our premium positioning, with a focus on disruptive influencer strategies and executions.Craft positioning brand storytelling with compelling and persuasive key messages and themes that elevate the overall brand narrative.Lead Advocacy & Social Media Strategy and create innovative ways to continue to build on the brand’s word of mouth.Develop and lead Global Brand Collaborations and secure disruptive and strategic partnerships.Partner with Product Development to build and accelerate the visibility of Allies of Skin’s approach to scientific authority.Lead the strategic planning and execution of communication campaigns for New Product Launches, ensuring cohesive messaging across all channels and markets.Develop and manage relationships with key opinion leaders and industry stakeholders to amplify the company’s message and drive product adoption.Influencer & Creator Affiliate RelationsDevelop and lead Influencer & affiliate relations that support the Marketing strategy; oversee execution worldwide, with a special focus on the US.Lead the identification and execution of global influencer partnerships, including storytelling and content creation.Lead the global vision and implementation of influencer seeding strategies.Oversee reporting and metrics to ensure KPIs are established and goals are clear.Build and maintain strong relationships with a wide network of talent, tastemakers, industry leaders, and partners.Media Relations/CommunicationsIdeate and manage the PR agencies and the development of Global Comm Launch Plans for all key brand moments and product launches.Oversee development of Communications tool kits, press releases, creative mailings, press gifts, etc.Ideate and develop big ideas to support brand equity and drive forward global communications strategy.Work closely with the affiliate manager on media relations strategies.Support crisis communications in line with leadership.Social MediaLead execution of Social Media plans and activations that create meaningful storytelling around the brand and our products.Team ManagementManage a team of 4-5 reports, including Copywriting, Public Relations, Influencers, and Social Media.Ensure the sharing and cross-pollination of ideas, success stories, and new media/social opportunities between all teams.You areKey SkillsetsStrong intuition for up-and-coming talent and command of the cultural zeitgeist.Storytelling and content development skills.Best in class writing skills.Excellent presentation and communication skills.Passionate about building meaningful internal and external relationships.Strategic agility.Disruptive mindset.Insights driven.Organized, detail-oriented.Able to prioritize multiple projects.Strong passion for and understanding of the premium, beauty, and fashion industries.Qualifications10+ years of Communications and Influencer Marketing experience in the US.Premium beauty brand experience, skincare preferred.Budget management experience.Proven leadership in a global/matrixed business environment.Skillful at building key relationships.A strong communication and presentation ability.Why us?Flexible working hours.Flexibility regarding office vs. mobile working solutions.A competitive and attractive salary.You will work in a highly committed team in which every individual counts.You will have the opportunity to shape and influence a company that has high growth rates.A dynamic working environment, flat hierarchies, fast responsibility, and new challenges every day.Cooperation is cross-functional and international.Product discounts.At Allies Group we celebrate diversity among all people.
