As part of our commitment to tackling COVID-19, Pfizer has developed both preventative and therapeutic measures to tackle this virus. Our therapeutic offering, PAXLOVIDTM, is a novel protease inhibitor that, since its Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) in December of 2021, has helped treat over 15M patients at high risk for progression to severe COVID-19. With the FDA approved May 2023 transition from EUA to NDA (New Drug) in the U.S., there is significant opportunity to bolster the leadership position of PAXLOVID in the marketplace. And with new clinical and real-world evidence data, label indications, and administration routes anticipated throughout 2024, there is even greater opportunity to help more patients get the care that they need.

The Director, Consumer Omnichannel and Digital Marketing, US PAXLOVID, will report directly to the Sr. Director, Consumer Team Lead, U.S. Antiviral and will be responsible for leading and executing the consumer digital and omnichannel media strategy for PAXLOVID in the US. He/she will work with the Consumer Team Lead, Creative Agencies, Media partners, and the Pfizer Chief Marketing Office (CMO) to challenge established thinking to solve brand issues in innovative ways; creating impactful, innovative programs that effectively educate consumers about the risks of COVID and provide the facts about PAXLOVID for appropriate patients. The Director will be expected to ensure all consumer initiatives are of the highest quality and are executed flawlessly and in a compliant manner.ROLE RESPONSIBILITIESThe Consumer Director will lead the development and execution of multiple consumer initiatives, including but not limited to:Digital BrandedNew and emerging technologies to identify unique opportunities to reach targeted populationsPartner with Pfizer Media to develop efficient, effective, and novel media strategies that optimize media mix to reach new and existing consumers across the Omnichannel landscapeIdentify current and future market opportunities as well as identify competitive threats to category leadership, with a focus on digital innovationCollaborate and align with HCP marketing, Vaccines, Global PAXLOVID, and PCHS as well as the CMO, External Communications, Medical, Legal, and Regulatory to develop impactful Digital Assets and educational materials and ensure a synergistic franchise approachPartner with Multicultural marketing to identify and recommend novel ways to reach our underserved communities to increase treatment ratesCollaborate and align with marketing team counterparts and cross-functional team members to ensure digital plans work in synergy to deliver overall MROI (marketing return on investment)Assist in the development of critical business planning deliverables such as Operating Plan, tactical plan, budgets, and long-range forecastsBASIC REQUIREMENTS

BA or BS required10+ years of marketing experience; less with advanced degree6 or more years of US healthcare or pharmaceutical industry experienceDocumented ability to effectively engage with stakeholders to drive behavior changeStrong business acumen including demonstrated strategic marketing and analytical thinking skillsDemonstrated ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team and lead colleagues outside of a direct reporting relationship through influence and persuasion.Demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.An absolute commitment to adherence to all applicable compliance rules and regulations.PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

09/19/2024The annual base salary for this position ranges from $161,600.00 to $269,400.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share-based long-term incentive program.
