As the EVP you will help set the direction while driving new thinking and challenging the team to deliver innovative work for our clients. The EVP is a strong relationship builder and problem solver who provides strategic oversight to holistic media plans, innovative ideas, and marketplace solutions tailored to a fast-paced client. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the retail vertical and will have a track record of excellent team leadership and client partnership.The EVP helps to drive overall agency business and is pivotal in shaping future success.

Responsibilities:Effectively and confidently balance the expectations and business goals of the client and agencyWork with the client to establish annual budget and staffing plan to best meet the needs of the client and agencyBring innovation and thought leadership to drive modern marketing solutions for our clientDrive integration across the assigned account with communication and collaboration across the agency and Publicis networkOwn and monitor P&L fluctuations to proactively identify risks and opportunitiesServes as strategic business lead in appropriate business development opportunities in conjunction with the assigned pitch teamDirect and nurture the development, presentation and maintenance of communication plans to build a competitive advantage including: insight development, innovation road maps, strategic initiatives, big but relevant ideas, updates, and point-of-views (POVs)Establish and build strong working relationships with senior level client contactsMaintain a strong understanding of marketplace conditions relevant to the client and use that knowledge for ongoing communicationPartner with internal teams to develop insights into brand extensions through evaluations and recommendations of cross-platform concepts; high degree of partnership across various areas/teams requires open and flexible collaboration styleDrive a culture based on teamwork, collaboration with accountability and intellectual curiosityManage and coach Directors/VPs/SVPs across account to co-manage and mentor a team with varying levels of experienceMinimum Requirements:Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred, ideally in advertising, marketing, business, or similar area of study15+ years of experience with previous experience leading a large account and teamSuperior client service and media experienceAbility to anticipate and quickly assess continually changing client needs and adapt resources and strategies accordinglyExcellent communication, presentation, organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skillsAbility to translate data into viable business solutions to enhance strategies and meet deliverablesExcellent leadership skills with ability to lead team to deliver high-quality resultsStarcom is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
