We support educators in creating personalized, self-paced, and mastery-based learning environments. We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Curricular Content Developer to support our team as an independent contractor to produce high-quality curriculum deliverables for our Curriculum creation team.Project Overview:As a Curricular Content Developer, your primary objective will be to create digital, curriculum-aligned materials for educators implementing the Modern Classrooms Project model. You will work closely with designated MCP staff to develop high-quality content that aligns with our instructional goals. This project requires a strong understanding of instructional design, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines.This is an independent contractor position, meaning you will operate your own business, set your own hours, and provide your services to MCP under the terms of this contract. You will not be an employee of MCP, and as such, you will be responsible for your own taxes, insurance, and other business expenses.Contractor Responsibilities:Develop instructional video presentation slides in Google Slides or similar platformsCreate guided notes and student-facing worksheets in Google Docs or similar word processorsProduce exemplar videos delivering instructional content using ScreenPal or a similar screen recording platformDesign mastery checks, answer keys, and implementation guides in Google DocsDevelop progress, pacing, and unit trackers in Google DocsCollaborate with MCP staff to ensure all materials meet the required standards and objectives, and implement feedback provided by MCP staff for final materialsProvide status updates when requested by MCP staffMeet deadlines as set and agreed upon with MCP staffQualifications:Proven experience in curricular content development or instructional designProficiency in Google Slides, Google Docs, and Google Sheets, or similar platformsExperience in creating instructional videos and other digital contentExperience using Asana project management platformStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExperience with the Illustrative Mathematics and Eureka Math² curriculum strongly preferred, but not requiredAbility to work independently and meet deadlinesEffective communication skills for collaboration and reporting progressCompensation:The Curricular Content Developer will be compensated at a rate of $55.00 USD per approved billable hour.
