We are seeking a Senior Technical Marketing Analyst with strong technical background to support our marketing and product development efforts in the auto parts industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting and analyzing market data, consumer insights, and competitor information to provide actionable recommendations that drive our business forward. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring that our strategies are grounded in accurate market intelligence. This position will work closely with Product Engineering to provide proactive support on product development initiatives. This position is initially offered as a one-year contract role. There is a strong potential for the role to transition into a permanent full-time position.Key Responsibilities:Market Research:

Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and competitive threats within the auto industry. Analyze market data, customer requirements, competitor activities and market pricing.Customer Insights:

Develop a deep understanding of our target audience by collecting and analyzing customer data. Create detailed customer profiles and buyer personas to guide marketing strategies.Competitor Analysis:

Monitor and assess competitor strategies, pricing, and positioning to identify strengths, weaknesses, and potential market gaps. Provide recommendations to maintain or gain a competitive advantage.Product Development Support:

Collaborate with product development teams to provide insights on market demand, product gaps, and potential areas for innovation. Help shape product development strategies with data-driven recommendations.Data Analysis:

Collect, process, and analyze marketing data to track the performance of various marketing initiatives including product marketing. Generate reports, dashboards, and insights to support decision-making.Customer Segmentation:

Utilize data to segment and profile customers and contribute to the development of targeted marketing strategies for different industry segments.ROI Analysis:

Calculate and report on the return on investment for various marketing activities, helping to allocate resources efficiently.Market Trends:

Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and customer preferences that may impact marketing and product development strategies.Forecasting:

Use data and historical performance to develop forecasts and projections for future marketing activities and product launches.Report Generation:

Create and present regular reports to management and other stakeholders on marketing and product performance, market analysis, and recommendations for improvement.Marketing Strategy Support:

Collaborate with the marketing team to develop data-driven marketing strategies and contribute to the development of marketing plans including customer presentations and other marketing assets.Business Development Support:

Identify opportunities for market expansion and support business development strategies to penetrate new markets and target new customer segments.Sales Support:

Collaborate with the sales team to understand their needs and objectives, providing data-drive insights and marketing support.Lead Generation:

Develop and execute marketing campaigns and initiatives to generate qualified leads, utilizing a combination of online and offline channels. Organize tech days.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.Experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry.Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, SPSS, or statistical software.Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently.Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.5 years minimum experience in the auto industry is required.
