Responsibilities

Job Summary:

The role has three primary objectives; one to ensure that current products meet customer challenges and that we are able to enhance those products to keep them relevant in the marketplace; two, assist with future product innovation to meet the needs of the organization as well as satisfy our on-going customer requirements; and three, to collaborate with regional leaders and product managers to evaluate international growth opportunities and build out a strategy to bring them to life. The role also requires leadership of the team to ensure alignment and achievement

Essential Functions & Accountabilities:Guide analysis of the performance of marketing campaigns with a focus on optimizing current and future campaigns through continuous process improvementResponsible for key market research, insights gathering and needs assessments for our international markets to develop and execute our global expansion plansProvide insight into voice of customer priorities, based on KOL and field engagement, so that the organization is properly aligned.Organizes, and controls several projects within an assigned product line from conceptual stages, through development to launch across all geographies, partnering with Strategy and R&D colleagues to ensure portfolio plan syncs with broader CSI visionContribute to defining the strategic platforms for new products and build a robust pool of ideas, such as product enhancements, to mine when appropriate to achieve revenue, market and product portfolio objectives for Medical DeviceIn partnership with Product Managers, R&D, BD and Strategy teams, build new product pipeline against strategic platforms to deliver 5-year planServe as the Marketing lead for our analysis - Collaborate with other marketing leaders and Strategy team to build out business case development, simulated test market, concept testing and tracking mechanisms and connecting with Strategy colleagues to develop cohesive recommendationSupport the new product planning process through each stage of product development to ensure adequate depth/resources to meet business objectivesCreate and oversee new product launches and incubation processes, including managing a portfolio of product tests & learns and launches of various sizes that are balanced to meet company needs on existing brands, leading and working in close collaboration with other functionsInspire and engage others to embrace change in order to build upon the strengths of CSI products by initiating changes that could go beyond current systems and processesCommunicate and influence senior management regarding product pipelines and readiness for products to shift into steady state businessManage and develop a high-performance team, and will direct internal and external resources throughout the value chain to deliver objectivesCoordinates and collaborates cross-functionally through-out the entire organization to include Brand, Channel Marketing, customer service, sales, innovation, R&D, Strategy and OperationsAttracts, leads, manages, coaches and mentors employees in such a way to ensure retention, development, and superior performance of the entire teamDevelops deep understanding of channel and customer drivers to include marketing insights and customer experienceTravel:

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Strategic thinker with excellent executional management skills and the ability to multitaskProactive, flexible, and self-motivatedAble to handle the stress of multiple high-pressure initiatives simultaneously while delivering on committed timelinesExperience with Single Use products and associated strategy across all or most of the associated clinical areasComfortable working in ambiguous or high stress situationsTrack record of working collaboratively in a matrixed environmentProven track record of successful portfolio resultsDemonstrated pattern of intellectual curiosityA true team player with excellent interpersonal skillsAbility to develop pro forma P&Ls and basic understanding of modeling to build and achieve revenue projectionsWork Environment:

5-7 years U.S. Medical Device or Pharmaceutical Marketing experience leading successful product lines for growthDirect Sales experience or KOL relationship management preferredProduct launch experience with responsibility for driving specialty physician preference and adoptionDeep knowledge of the medical device space, specifically the Hospital and ASC marketsEducation:

Bachelor's DegreeAdvanced degree preferred, especially an MBA or an advanced scientific degree

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $170,000- $190,000. The actual base pay includes many factors, and is subject to change and modification in the future. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
