Position OverviewCMG is looking for a Video Specialist/Streaming Video Editor who will edit and manage streaming video assets including shared content, CMG original content and various photography and editing projects.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage video assets for dozens of CMG original streams and programsEdit any CMG existing and upcoming original programs and projectsEnsure all centralized content is appropriately uploaded and segmented for all CMG streamsEnhance existing streams, while also working on new streaming opportunities with the corporate Content teamWork closely with corporate technology, product, and content teams as well as all CMG marketsWork closely with outside content partners and corporate team on efficient content delivery
Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferred but will also consider experienceAt least 2-4 years of experience in television/streamingExperience with any cloud-based video management systemCapabilities with Avid, Premiere, Final Cut Pro and After EffectsMust be detail oriented with good organizational skills. Must be able to work under deadlines and multi-taskExperience in a local or national news operation is preferred
